New Meshcore repeater at Dowd Junction

The map at right shows estimated coverage from a new repeater at Dowd Junction in Colorado.  As you can see, it serves Avon, Edwards, Minturn and Vail. 

The new repeater, named EGE-DOWD-RC-D8D2, is presently the westernmost Meshcore node on the I-70 corridor.  Its sole connection to the Colorado mesh is via EGE-VAIL-E08-RC-F8F9.  You can see information about the new repeater at this analyzer and this analyzer.

The repeater was constructed and deployed by local hams Luca Martini VE2WKR and Carl Oppedahl AA2KW.
