More Meshcore progress in Summit County

(The property owners who made this repeater possible have said they are willing to be publicly thanked — see blog article.)

A new Meshcore repeater has been deployed in Summit County, this one in the Mesa Cortina neighborhood.  As so often happens, what made this possible is the generosity of a property owner who volunteered to provide a site for the repeater.

As you can see, the repeater has already established connections with several other repeaters including a repeater named CO-SUM-PTA-RE in the Ptarmigan neighborhood and a repeater named CO-SUM-WB-RE in the Willowbrook neighborhood.

The repeater named CO-SUM-HAM-RE is a temporary installation for a site survey to evaluate a long-term location in the Hamilton Creek neighborhood.  This, too, is being made possible by the generosity of a property owner who has volunteered to provide a site for a repeater.

The repeater named Carl-Sausal-C is a temporary deployment of a newly purchased repeater, to test its function before it is deployed to a service location.

The map shows blue box with a number for each link, namely the SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) measured in decibels for the link.  Bigger numbers are better.   It is preferable that the SNR be +5 or higher, but lower values can still work.

I hope that readers will join me in thinking positive thoughts in the direction of the two generous neighbors who have made these most recent deployments possible.
